Our values and our culture
The wish to be a benchmark on the market, to make our clients the centre of our concerns and to continue the improvement of our profitability, there are the goals which inspire the value adopted by Arval and which are common values of the BNP Paribas Group. They guide our collaborators in their daily work and, more than a state of mind, these represent a recruitment criterion at Arval!
Commitment
Discipline, ethics, the ability to listen and a sense of responsibility are the guiding principles of the commitment made by Arval with respect to its customers, teams, partners and shareholders. This commitment is based on team spirit and a policy of long-term cooperation. Two main objectives characterise its commitment to customers: to optimise costs linked to the use of their vehicles and simplify the daily use of the latter.
Ambition
Arval’s ambition is to stand out as a role model in its business in order to assist our customers in their projects. Striving to be close to the customer is a constant source of progress, thus leading our Group towards selective and controlled growth in customer service.
Creativity
Arval keeps a regular watch on technology in order to develop powerful IT resources, enabling Arval's teams to deliver innovative and highly qualitative products and services to customers
Responsiveness
Arval aims to combine attentiveness and speed in order to serve its customers in all its fields of activity, supported by efficient management of both risks and costs.
Respect
Our model of behaviour is based on demonstrating respect for others in all circumstances on a daily basis. All our entities follow this principle in the relations they entertain with our fellow employees, customers, and partners and generally with all people with whom we come in contact .
Sustainable development: Arval, a socially responsible company

For this purpose, it pays much attention to the Human Resources management favouring the involvement and participation of collaborators to Arval’s development: dedicated training programmes, closeness to the management, carrier management, and an internal communication grounded on the transparency principle.
A Responsible Company, Arval has put Respect in the centre of its values, and promotes Diversity within in.
Accordingly, Arval has set up its handicap mission: Handi'Act. Its goal is to improve the recruitment, welcoming and integration of handicapped workers inside Arval (especially by means of a company agreement in favour of persons having disabilities).
